It all started in 2003 when Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia and his family opened up a small cigar factory called El Rey de los Habanos in Little Havana, Miami. With years of experience as a master roller in Cuba, Pepin’s blends were an instant hit. In a few years his cigars were getting great reviews and he was off and running.

In 2009 Pepin and his son Jaime moved their growing business to Estelí, Nicaragua. They opened up a state of the art factory called My Father Cigars S.A. named after Jaime’s top rated My Father blend which was created in 2008. This new chapter brought even more success with My Father Cigars getting 90+ ratings and two Cigar of the Year awards. The famous My Father Le Bijou 1922, a medium to full bodied cigar is one of their most popular blends, it has flavors of chocolate covered raisins, leather and a sweet-salty finish.

The Garcia family puts quality in every cigar they make. They grow their own Cuban seed tobacco on their farms in Nicaragua so only the best aged tobacco is used in their blends. They have names like Flor de las Antillas, Don Pepin Garcia and La Aroma de Cuba which have a loyal following around the world.
