The Pichardo Clasico is a cigar that tells the story of tradition, family and flavor. Born in Estelí, Nicaragua at Tabacalera Pichardo, this line was created by Eradio Pichardo, a 4th generation cigar maker with roots in Cuba. First released in 2019 it quickly gained attention for its smooth balance and rich flavor. Today the same blend is now called Tiago Clasico in honor of NBA champion Tiago Splitter, a partner in the brand.
The Clasico line has three different versions each with its own personality. The original Clasico has a Sumatra wrapper for a mellow earthy smoke. The Clasico Natural has an Ecuadorian Sun Grown Habano wrapper for a medium bodied smoke with cedar, spice and a hint of sweetness. Then there’s the Clasico Maduro with a dark Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper for a richer smoke with notes of coffee, chocolate, fruit and a peppery kick. All are bound and filled with Nicaraguan tobaccos for a smooth and consistent draw.
No matter which one you choose, the Pichardo Clasico is built to please. Medium in strength, flavorful in every puff and made in Nicaragua it’s a cigar that feels approachable yet memorable. Light one up and you’ll see why smokers around the world made it an instant favorite.
