The Crowned Heads Le Pâtissier is a cigar with a sweet story and big flavor. Introduced as a limited release at the 2021 PCA Trade Show, it was meant to be the follow-up to the popular Le Carême. Just like its name which means “pastry chef” in French, the blend was designed to be rich and indulgent like a dessert after dinner. It was a hit and later became a regular offering for cigar fans.
This cigar is wrapped in a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, with a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and fillers from Costa Rica and Nicaragua’s Pueblo Nueva and Ometepe regions. The combination produces a medium-to-full bodied smoke that’s flavorful and complex but smooth. With every puff you’ll get bold flavors of earth, cocoa, charred oak, coffee and leather, with a touch of black pepper and herbal notes. It’s rich, satisfying and will keep your palate entertained from start to finish.
Handmade at Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua, the Le Pâtissier is perfect as an after dinner cigar or an end of day treat. It’s a blend that shows Crowned Heads love for small batch cigars with character and balance. Since this line is now discontinued the cigars available today are the last of their kind—so it’s not just a great smoke but also a piece of Crowned Heads history.
