The Kristoff Guardrail is a one of a kind cigar. It was inspired by a serious motorcycle accident Glen Case, the founder of Kristoff Cigars, had in Oklahoma. Glen’s bike crashed into a guardrail and he lived. This cigar was created as a tribute to his second chance at life and has a special blend to match.
This medium bodied cigar has a dark, oily Brazilian Maduro wrapper, Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Zimbabwe. It’s smooth and rich with complex and enjoyable flavors. You’ll taste caramel, chocolate, French roast coffee, sweet cedar and a hint of allspice all finishing with a creamy taste.
Each Kristoff Guardrail is handcrafted at the Tabacalera von Eicken factory in the Dominican Republic. The packaging is modern with black boxes and chrome bands and the construction is perfect. Once lit the cigar produces a luxurious smoke with earthy notes and nuts and cedar that pop up throughout the smoke.
This cigar is for the more experienced smoker. It pairs well with coffee or a medium bodied beer and can be smoked anytime of day. Fans of dark Brazilian wrapped cigars like CAO Brazilia or Trinidad Espiritu Series 2 will love the flavors and craftsmanship of the Kristoff Guardrail. It’s a cigar that takes a story of tragedy and turns it into one of triumph, a bold and memorable smoke.
