Dias de Gloria is a special cigar that pays homage to the golden age of Cuban tobacco before the revolution. AJ wanted to capture the classic Cuban flavor that cigar lovers remember from before 1959. To make this cigar he used only Nicaraguan tobacco, all grown on four of his oldest farms: Finca los Cedros, La Providencia 1, La Lilia and La Soledad — all located in Estelí, Nicaragua. Some of the tobacco in this blend has been aged up to 7 years which adds a smooth and mature taste.
The wrapper is a beautiful reddish-brown Nicaraguan leaf that gives the cigar a rich look and taste. Inside the aged filler and binder tobaccos create a balanced medium bodied smoke. When you light up Dias de Gloria you’ll notice smooth notes of leather, earth, black pepper and wood. Some smokers even taste a hint of vanilla, chocolate and nuts. The flavors are not too strong but build slowly and leave a long finish.
Dias de Gloria is available in a few popular sizes, round Robusto, Gordo and Short Churchill and box-pressed Toro. Each one burns evenly and draws smoothly. This cigar is for someone who enjoys classic flavors without anything too bold or heavy. With a well deserved 90 point rating AJ Fernandez Dias de Gloria is a great way to enjoy a piece of cigar history in every puff.
